Prayer Ministry

New Beginnings House of Worship Inc. believes in a strong prayer ministry. Jesus said, "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." Mark 11:17 The ministry of prayer is the sacred act of communicating with God, both for oneself and on behalf of others, through consistent, intentional prayer to fulfill God's agenda, foster spiritual health, and provide a foundation of love and fellowship within the church. It is a powerful tool for intercession, enabling believers to participate in God's work and bear one another's spiritual burdens.  We have a service once a week dedicated to prayer on Saturday mornings from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Everyone is welcome to come and pray with us.  It doesn't matter what church you may go to, we are open to pray in Unity.

Key Aspects of the Ministry of Prayer:
  • Intercession and Intercession
At its core, the ministry of prayer involves interceding (praying) for others, such as church leaders and members, to address their needs and concerns.

  • Communion with God
It serves as a vital spiritual discipline, a sacred act of fellowship that reflects true faith and dependence on God rather than self.

  • Fulfilling God's Will
Prayer is understood as a way to align with God's divine plan and work to bring about His kingdom agenda.

  • Nurturing Spiritual Health
A consistent prayer life is seen as crucial for the spiritual vitality of individuals and the church body as a whole, acting as its "lifeblood".

  • Unity and Support
The ministry of prayer unifies believers by allowing them to pray for one another, share in burdens, and encourage a deeper, active prayer life in the congregation.

How to Engage in the Ministry of Prayer:
  • Regular and Intentional Prayer
Make a conscious effort to set aside regular time for prayer and fasting to connect with God and His purposes.

  • Focus on Intercession
Engage in focused intercession for others' needs, whether known or unknown.

  • Corporate Prayer
Participate in organized prayer meetings and sessions to unify the body of Christ and strengthen corporate prayer life within the church.  We strongly believe the body of Christ should always come together in corporate prayer at every service and everyone is encouraged to do so.

  • Personal Discipline
Recognize that public prayer is an outflow of private prayer; a strong private prayer life fosters integrity in public ministry.

  • Listen for God's Guidance
In the process of praying with and for others, actively listen for how God might want to address their needs.
